Within international standards developing organizations, individual country interests are represented by Technical Advisory Groups (“TAG”s). The United States has several TAGs, and each TAG is assigned an administrator and a TAG Secretary, usually a U.S.-based standards developer through a national standards body.

TIA is the administrator for a number of U.S. Technical Advisory Groups of strategic importance to its Sector Association members.
