TIA Issues New Project 25 Recommended Compliance Assessment Tests - Trunking Interoperability Standard

Arlington, VA (July 14, 2015) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, TSB-102.CBBJ-C Project 25 Recommended Compliance Assessment Tests - Trunking Interoperability.

TSB-102.CBBJ-C specifies requirements that identify the tests appropriate for use in compliance-assessment-type testing in the area of Trunked Voice Interoperability. These tests were deemed important for achieving interoperability between equipment of different manufacturers versus tests important for product design and certification. The resulting list therefore represents tests that are most important for or most likely to impact interoperability between manufacturers building to the same set of published standard documents. This revision will incorporate conformance test procedures and will update references to this document.

TSB-102.CBBJ-C was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-8 Mobile and Personal Private Radio Standards, TR-8.25 Compliance Assessment subcommittee.

For more information about TR-8 and how to participate in standards development with TIA, contact Marianna Kramarikova at standards@tiaonline.org.

TIA actively seeks participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
