Telecommunications Industry Association Issues Call for Interest: "cdma2000 RAN Management"
Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation

Arlington Va. – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-45.4 Engineering Committee on Radio to Switching Technology - Mobile and Personal Communications Standards has issued a call for interest for document TIA-4964-A initially titled "cdma2000 RAN Management". TR-45.4 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope:

"This standard describes the protocols and procedures to support cdma2000® RAN Management in 3 the Radio Access Network (RAN)."

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: RAN vendors and operators

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
