Infrastructure Bill an Opportunity to Invest in America’s Future

Arlington, VA (November 06, 2021) – The Telecommunications Industry Association—the trusted ICT industry association—applauded the House for passing an historic bipartisan infrastructure bill today that includes investments up to $65 billion to expand critical broadband access including a permanent federal program to help more low-income households gain access to affordable services.

“This is a once in a generation opportunity to invest in America’s future and ensure we remain globally competitive with trusted and reliable network infrastructure,” said TIA CEO, David Stehlin. “Thank you to the lawmakers and their staff who worked across party lines to get this important package through. We strongly urge President Biden to sign the legislation quickly and put this historic investment to work immediately and ensure a more secure and better-connected future for all Americans.”
