TIA issues New Inter-RF Subsystem Interface - Messages and Procedures for Voice Services, Mobility Management, and RFSS Capability Polling Services - Addendum 1 - Group Emergency Behaviors Standard
Arlington, VA (July 24, 2013) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, TIA-102.BACA-B-1, Inter-RF Subsystem Interface - Messages and Procedures for Voice Services, Mobility Management, and RFSS Capability Polling Services - Addendum 1 - Group Emergency Behaviors.
This addendum defines new group emergency behaviors which will improve the interoperability between Radio Frequency Subsystems (RFSSs) when a user declares an emergency. It enhances the existing suite of standards that address Inter-RF Subsystem Interface (ISSI) technology and modifies the base document TIA-102.BACA-B.
TIA-102.BACA-B-1 was formulated under the cognizance of the TIA TR-8 Mobile and Personal Private Radio Standards, TR-8.19 Wireline System Interfaces
For more information about TR-8 and how to participate in standards development with TIA, contact Marianna Kramarikova at standards@tiaonline.org.
TIA-102.BACA-B-1 and all TIA standards may be purchased at http://global.ihs.com.
