TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Addendum for E-UTRAN - eHRPD Connectivity and Interworking: Core Network Aspects

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (September 24, 2013) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-45.8 Engineering Committee on Core Networks - Mobile and Personal Communications Standards has issued a call for interest for document TIA-1163-B-1 initially titled "E-UTRAN - eHRPD Connectivity and Interworking: Core Network Aspects".

TR-45.8 is developing a project that will define Stage 2 service descriptions, call flows and Stage 3 protocols and procedures corrections for network enhancements to efficiently support communication between EUTRAN and eHRPD networks relative to 3GPP release 10.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: Wireless service providers and vendors.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
