TIA Issues Call for Interest on new Project for E-UTRAN – cdma2000^® Connectivity and Interworking Air Interface Specification

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (September 24, 2013) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-45.5 Engineering Committee on Spread Spectrum Digital Technology -- Mobile and Personal Communications Standards has issued a call for interest for document TIA-1138-A-2 initially titled "E-UTRAN – cdma2000^® Connectivity and Interworking Air Interface Specification". This addendum is being developed to add the Inter-Radio Access Technology Idle Load Balancing functionality between E-UTRAN and HRPD.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: mobile phone manufacturers and users.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
