Conformance Profiles for Advanced Trunked Operation

Stakeholders Invited to Contact TIA Regarding Participation.

Arlington VA. (April 25, 2013) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Trunking and Conventional Control has issued a call for interest for document TIA-102.CAED initially titled "Conformance Profiles for Advanced Trunked Operation".

TR-8.10 is developing guidelines in the area defined by the following scope: "This document describes Conformance Profiles for Advanced Trunked Operation. These Conformance Profiles are intended to be a supplement to the interoperability tests and may be used in a test environment to verify the messages, message sequences and message content associated that enable interoperable standard functionality."

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: All manufacturers of trunked LMR equipment.  All stakeholders interested in P25 Compliance.

TIA is actively seeking participation in these projects from the user and general interest communities.
