Panel: International: Ambassador Sapiro will provide an overview of the President’s 2013 Trade Agenda, with specific remarks on the recently initiated International Services Agreement and the ongoing negotiations to expand the WTO Information Technology Agreement.  The panel will take on a number of internet policy issues of relevance internationally, including cybersecurity, data privacy, internet governance, and the upcoming International Telecommunications Union, World Telecommunications Policy Forum.

Panel: View from the FCC: Key staffers from the FCC will discuss ICT benefits and regulatory challenges to delivering new products to consumers, and how industry can help face those challenges and create opportunities.  They will address how government is working to improve inter-coordination between agencies, keep up with the pace of technology, and prioritize and balance the interests of many, especially considering dwindling federal budgets.

Hear from key government representatives on issues related to cybersecurity, from implementation of the Presidential Executive Order to the information sharing aspects that are being addressed by Congress.  Companies who manufacture products and solutions geared towards protecting network infrastructure will learn what rules are currently in place, what is being considered by government, and what to expect.
