  • The Bureau of Economic Analysis announces comprehensive restructuring of International Economic Accounts, including new categories for computer services and information services.
  • The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (RE&EEAC) will hold an open meeting on June 12.

Research Ecosystem

 
  • Tax extenders bill, which includes the R&D credit,  stalled in Senate until after November elections.

The Public Safety Network Challenge

  • TIA files comments to FCC on Wireless E911 Location Accuracy; reply comments have been extended to July 14. 
  • FCC's Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council (CSRIC) will meet on June 18.

  • FCC Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau is seeking comments on Petition for Rulemaking filed by the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council; comments are due June 30 and reply comments are due July 15.

  • NIST proposes risk management security guidelines for federal ICT Supply Chains; comments due July 19.

  • NIST issues draft publication, 'Systems Security Engineering: An Integrated Approach to Building Trustworthy Resilient Systems'; comments due July 11.
  • DoD issues final DFARS counterfeit electronic parts prevention rules; announces June 16 workshop.

  • DOE solicits nominations for the Appliance Standards and Rulemaking Federal Advisory Committee (ASRAC).
  • The House appropriations committee releases draft FY2015 $34 billion energy and water spending bill.
  • OMB draft annual report concludes federal regulations yielded benefits of between $217 to $863 billion, at a cost of $57 to 84 billion.
  • DOE and White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) host Energy Datapalooza
