FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 03, 2008
Arlington, Va. – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) announced the election of new leadership for the TR-42: User Premises Telecommunications Requirements Engineering Committee. TIA congratulates the industry-leading technical experts elected at the group's meeting last month in Tampa, Fla. The entire slate of leadership for the committee and its various subcommittees was elected by acclimation – unanimously and unopposed – a strong show of confidence in their leadership.
"TR-42 continues to develop and maintain some of the industry's best and most in-demand standards, from data-center design to telecom cabling systems, on the backs of its incredibly talented members," said Ed Mikoski, TIA Vice President, Standards and Business Development. "Their tireless, volunteer efforts drive communications."
